1. Product Description

Our product, The Tide Clock, is a smart electronic device designed to display the current state of the tide. It relies on an internet-enabled data service provided by TideDials to keep the device updated with tide data.

The product is designed and intended for use in the United Kingdom only.

2. What’s Included in the Purchase Price

When you purchase The Tide Clock, the following items are included:

  • The Tide Clock device

  • USB-C power cable

  • UK mains power plug

  • 12-month subscription to our tide data service (for the selected location)

3. Subscription Service

  • The initial 12-month subscription is included with your purchase and begins from the date of your first installation or setup of the Tide Clock.

  • After the first year, subscriptions are renewable annually via our website.

  • The annual subscription fee is set at a reasonable rate to cover the costs of providing tide data. The current subscription price starts from £4.99 per year.

  • Subscription charges may vary from year to year due to increasing operational costs.

  • Failure to renew your subscription may result in the device no longer receiving tide data updates.

4. Use of Services

  • All services provided by TideDials are for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • No part of the services, including the tide data, software, or any associated content, may be copied, reproduced, redistributed, or exploited for commercial purposes.

5. Disclaimer

The tide data provided by The Tide Clock is intended for general information and personal use only. While we make every effort to provide accurate and timely data, we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness, or availability.

  • It must not be relied upon for marine navigation or any activity where safety at sea is critical.

  • For navigational purposes, you must always consult official nautical charts and publications issued by authorised government agencies.

  • In emergencies, contact your local coastguard or relevant maritime authority.

The data provided by TideDials may contain errors and cannot replace official government charts. Only government-issued charts and notices to mariners provide the necessary information for safe navigation.

TideDials accepts no responsibility or liability for any loss, damage, or injury arising from reliance on the tide data provided.
